Norwegian offshore service provider Archer has secured a long-term frame agreement with ConocoPhillips for the provision of wireline services on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS).

The contract is for an initial five-year period commencing Q2, 2021, plus options.

Archer said this makes it the largest mechanical intervention firm on the NCS with an estimated total contract backlog of NOK3.5bn ($414m).
