Arne Fredly adds three more VLCCs at DSME

Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) announced today that it has won a $273m deal to build three VLCCs for Norway’s Hunter Tankers.

The Korean yard will deliver the 300,000 dwt tankers by October 31, 2020.

The latest order takes the number of VLCCs Hunter Tankers has on order at DSME to 10.

Hunter was established this year by Norwegian investor Arne Fredly.
