Atlantic Offshore scraps 42-year-old supply vessel

Norway’s Atlantic Offshore has sold the 1974-built standby/supply vessel Ocean West off for scrap.

The vessel has just come off a nine-month emergency response and rescue vessel contract from Talisman Sinopec Energy UK, who decided not to take up an additional 2-year option.

Atlantic Offshore operates 15 vessels in the North Sea.
