Avenir LNG promotes Milorad Doljanin to CEO

Avenir LNG, the small scale LNG shipping venture backed by Stolt-Nielsen, Golar LNG and Höegh LNG, has appointed Milorad Doljanin to the role of chief executive officer.

Doljanin assumes the position on December 13, and steps up from the position of COO having joined Avenir LNG in August 2019. He succeeds Andrew Pickering, who will retire as CEO of Avenir LNG having spent almost 40 years with Stolt-Nielsen.

Niels Stolt-Nielsen, chairman of Avenir LNG, commented: “I would like to thank Andrew for the excellent work he has done in establishing Avenir LNG and look forward to working with Milorad in continuing to develop the many exciting opportunities lying ahead for Avenir LNG.”
