Dalian: AVIC Weihai Shipyard, a subsidiary yard of AVIC Group, is getting close to get an order of half a dozen mid-sized container ships from a German owner, an official from AVIC Weihai told SinoShip News.
“Currently we are in talks with a German owner to build six containerships. We expect to deliver a total of 14 vessels this year,” the official said
“Also we have seen growth in domestic orders this year as the international market keeps has been flat,” the official added. [02/11/12]
