Awilco LNG secures time charter contract

Norwegian LNG vessel owner Awilco LNG has secured a contract from an undisclosed oil and gas major for the time charter of the 2013-built 156,000 cu m LNG carrier WilForce.

The tri-fuel diesel electric LNG carrier has been committed on a 9-12 month time charter.

The contract is expected to commence in September, subsequent to scheduled drydocking of the vessel, and is estimated to contribute an annual EBITDA of about $26m during the charter period.

Awilco LNG currently owns two 156,000 cu m LNG carriers, the WilForce and the WilPride.
