Norwegian LNG vessel owner Awilco LNG has secured a new eight-month time charter contract from an undisclosed oil and gas major for 2013-built 156,000 cu m LNG carrier WilPride.
.The contract is scheduled to commence in July, and will contribute an annualised EBITDA of about $23m during the charter period.
Awilco LNG currently owns two 156,000 cu m LNG carriers, WilForce and WilPride. Last Thursday, WilForce was struck by another vessel off Singapore and is currently undergoing a class inspection and hull repairs.
