Singapore design and construction firm Baker Technology has secured a time charter contract for newbuild liftboat Blue Titanium.
.The liftboat, designed and built by Baker Technology subsidiary Baker Engineering, will be deployed in Southeast Asia to support rejuvenation work at platforms for an unnamed national oil company.
The charter is scheduled to commence during the second quarter of 2018, although the contract length and price were not revealed.
Baker Technology’s history dates back to 1981 and the company is one of two white knights that have committed to investing in struggling Ezra Holdings subsidiary EMAS Offshore.
