Bangladeshi survives 12 days trapped in a container

An emaciated Bangladeshi man was found in a container from Bangladesh that reached a port in India’s Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday.

Mohammad Rohan, an air conditioner mechanic from Dhaka, survived 12 days at sea stuck in the box onboard a Samsara boxship.

Local police have taken the man into custody and sent him to hospital. Local TV footage showed Rohan receiving fluids intravenously and food at a hospital.
