Benetech Shipping acquires tanker pair from HMM

Greek owner Benetech Shipping has acquired two MR2 tankers from South Korean owner Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM).

According to broking sources, the two 50,400dwt tankers, Oriental Ruby and Oriental Emerald, were sold en bloc to Benetech Shipping for a total of $22.5m.

The latest acquisition brings Benetech Shipping’s fleet to 11 tankers.
