Berg takes temporary leave of absence from Viking Supply Ships

Viking Supply Ships has announced that Christian W. Berg will take temporary leave from the position as ceo of Viking Supply Ships A/S due to family reasons.

Berg will remain ceo of parent company Viking Supply Ships AB, however to reduce his workload Tord Ytterdahl, managing director of Viking Ice Consultancy, will temporarily take over the ceo postion of Viking Supply Ships A/S which is the offshore/icebreaking division of the group.

Berg was appointed ceo of the group in April 2015, when the company changed its name from Rederi AB TransAtlantic.
