Bergen Group AAK, formerly AAK Energy Services, has been awarded a framework contract by AF Offshore Decom for subcontractor services connected to the decommissioning and disassembly of topside structures on the Ekofisk oil field in the North Sea.
Bergen Group AAK will deliver engineering services including welding, mechanical and inspections, in addition to other relevant disciplines, such as lifting and rigging.
The framework contract covers the period from 2017 to 2018.
Bergen Group entered into an agreement to purchase AAK Energy Services in May this year. The company is specialized in accessing techniques utilized for maintenance, modifications and operations.
