Kuala Lumpur: TH Heavy Engineering (TH Heavy) 30%-owned unit Berlian McDermott Sdn Bhd has secured a contract from PC Kelapang II Ltd, part of Petronas, for transportation, installation and pre-commissioning works at the Bukit Tua Development in East Java, Indonesia.
Berlian McDermott’s 128 m long derrick lay barge, DB 30, will handle the job. Although no figures were given for the five month contract, local media has speculated it could be worth up to RM90m. [17/11/14]
