Dalian: Thirty one berths are under planning and construction at Dongying port in Shandong province, with total investment on these berths reaching RMB2.86bn.
These berths include eighteen liquid chemical berths, seven bulk cargo berths, two roro berths and four passenger vessel berths, ranging from 3,000 dwt to 50,000 dwt in size with completion expected by the end of 2013.
Currently there are 29 berths in Dongying Port and by the end of 2012 the annual port throughput will reach 22m tons. [17/07/12]
