BH Global wins multiple contracts

Singapore: After enduring a difficult year to date, marine and offshore electrical supplier BH Global has announced contract wins to the value of S$8.1m.

The major contract of the bunch is for the integration, interface, execution traceability and fabrication of Turret Mooring Tables for operational purposes in the harsh North Sea environment for subsea firm Cameron & Schlumberger.

Vincent Lim, ceo of BH Global said, “We have been affected by some recent negativity and we hope that these contract wins will provide us with a solid platform to begin our turnaround. It speaks volumes about the Group’s capabilities when one of the world’s largest companies in the subsea sector places its trust in us for such a delicate project.”

In July of this year, BH Global had two vessels “forcefully removed and robbed away” from the BH Marine & Offshore Engineering shipyard in Batam, Indonesia after a dispute with a local company. [14/11/13]
