Bibby Offshore wins another North Sea contract

Bibby Offshore has been awarded a two-phase contract to carry out inspection repair and maintenance services at multiple North Sea assets for an unnamed oil and gas and production company.

Initial offshore work is scheduled to commence before then end of next month, primarily utilising diving support vessel, Bibby Topaz.

Howard Woodcock, chief executive of Bibby Offshore, commented: “Our experienced, skilled team has worked closely on these assets previously, successfully completing IRM activities through a 365 contract. This type of IRM service is at the core of our business and always receives close attention to ensure we deliver a high level of service for our clients.”

Earlier in the month, Bibby was awarded a two-year framework agreement by Spirit Energy for inspection repair and maintenance works, ROV inspection and subsea survey operations at multiple North Sea structures and pipelines.

Grant Rowles

Grant spent nine years at Informa Group based in London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore. He gained strong management experience in publishing, conferences and awards schemes in the shipping and legal areas, working on a number of titles including Lloyd's List. In 2009 Grant joined Seatrade responsible for the commercial development of Seatrade’s Asia products. In 2012, with Sam Chambers, he co-founded Asia Shipping Media.
