Bocomm adds four more kamsarmaxes at CSSC Chengxi

China’s Bank of Communications Leasing (BoComm Leasing) has signed shipbuilding contracts with CSSC Chengxi Shipyard for the construction of four 80,000dwt kamsarmax bulk carriers.

Delivery of the two vessels are scheduled in 2020.

The latest contract has added BoComm Leasing’s orderbook at Chengxi to 11 vessels ranging from 80,000dwt to 82,000dwt.

In addition to newbuildings, BoComm Leasing has also been expanding its fleet through acquiring secondhand vessels. The company acquired four supramaxes from Emanuele Lauro’s Scorpio in May.
