Body found as search continues for missing barge crew

Singapore: The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) continues search and rescue operations to find missing crew members more than seven days after the barge Heng Hong 168 capsized in Singapore waters about three nautical miles west of Horsburgh Lighthouse.

Four crew members remain missing after one crew member was found alive drifting off Bintan island early Sunday morning.

Indonesian authorities have recovered a body off Tanjung Pinang Tuesday morning and are now verifying the identity of the body to ascertain whether it is one of the missing crew members from Heng Hong 168. [26/12/13]
