Bohai Ferry establishes Tianjin subsidiary

Shanghai: In order to accelerate the company’s expansion, Bohai Ferry announced today that it plans to set up a new subsidiary, Bohai Ferry Tianjin International Company, which will be dedicated to shipping and tourism.

In the meantime, Bohai Ferry will apply for an RMB240 loan from Bank of China to fund the construction of two roro vessels which will be built at Shandong Huanghai Shipbuilding.

The Tianjin opening follows quickly after Bohai Ferry announced plans for a Hong Kong subsidiary to launch it into international cruise tourism. [13/02/14]
