Dalian: Some yards in China have enjoyed a solid year, and a very select few are now full for the coming three years.
South Korea’s Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM), for instance, has placed an order for two firm 210,000 dwt newcastlemaxes at Bohai Shipbuilding in the north of China, with delivery of both vessels due in early 2017, one of the first yards to start selling 2017 slots. [10/12/13]
