Borr Drilling secures slew of new contracts

Norway’s Borr Drilling has announced a number of new contracts and extensions for its jackup rigs in its latest fleet status report.

The 2013-built Odin has been awarded a new contract in Mexico by undisclosed client, starting from March to November 2019.

Total has exercised one option for the 2013-built Frigg from January to October 2019, and another option for the 1983-built C20051 in the Netherlands from January to February 2019.

TAQA has extended its contract with the 1981-built MSS1 for one month from March to April 2019 in the UK.

Additionally, Borr Drilling is in advanced negotiations with clients for another two contracts with Prospector 5 and C20051.
