Boskalis awarded two new offshore projects

Dutch offshore service provider Boskalis has been awarded two offshore contracts worth a combined EUR85m ($94.7m).

The company secured a contract in Taiwan to carry out the scour protection of the turbine foundations at Yunlin offshore windfarm utilising a fallpipe vessel. The project is scheduled to commence early 2020 and is expected to be completed late 2020.

Boskalis also secured a contract from the Danish Energinet Gas-TSO for the laying of a new gas pipeline from Jutland to Funen in the Lillebaelt of Denmark. The company will deploy a trailing suction hopper dredger, a fallpipe vessel and a backhoe dredger for the project.
