Boskalis scores subsea work at Tyra

Dutch group Royal Boskalis Westminster has been awarded a contact by Total E&P Denmark for subsea work at the Tyra redevelopment.

The contract includes subsea engineering, procurement, fabrication and installation at the project to extend the operational lifetime of the Tyra offshore gas field by over 25 years.

Boskalis will be involved in the relocating and connecting of subsea pipelines as well as the installation of manifolds, vertical platform production risers and umbilicals.

Most of the offshore work will be performed by 2011-built diving support vessel Boka Atlantis, which Boskalis acquired as part of a deal with bondholders of bust Harkand late last year.
