BP takes five Vroon ERRVs on two-year support deal

Vroon Offshore Services has been awarded a two-year contract with BP Exploration & Production to provide emergency response and rescue vessels supporting operations in the North Sea and West of Shetland.

The contract has options to extend to five years and utilises five Vroon’s ERRVs, the VOS Fabulous, VOS Vigilant, VOS Innovator, VOS Discovery and VOS Fairness.

Vroon has a fleet of 40 standby and emergency response and rescue vessels amongst its offshore fleet of over 100 vessels.

Grant Rowles

Grant spent nine years at Informa Group based in London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore. He gained strong management experience in publishing, conferences and awards schemes in the shipping and legal areas, working on a number of titles including Lloyd's List. In 2009 Grant joined Seatrade responsible for the commercial development of Seatrade’s Asia products. In 2012, with Sam Chambers, he co-founded Asia Shipping Media.
