Oslo: Brenner West Capital, a key supporter in Ocean Yield’s recent initial public offering on the Oslo Bors (pictured), has reduced its interest in the shipowner.
The share sale leaves the hedge fund with a holding of less than 5% after selling off 545,771 shares.
Aker is the majority shareholder of Ocean Yield, which in turn is controlled by Norwegian serial entrepreneur, Kjell Inge Rokke, a man with a fortune worth $1.9bn, according to Forbes. Rokke is also a board member at Ocean Yield.
