Bumi Armada recontracts Nigerian FPSO

Kuala Lumpur: Bumi Armada Berhad announced yesterday that itssubsidiaries, Armada Oyo and Bumi Armada (Singapore), signed two contracts with Oceanic Consultants Nigeria for the continued deployment of the FPSO Armada Perdanaat the Oyo Field Development, offshore Nigeria.

The $381m deal is for an initial period of 7 years commencing from 1 January 2014 with options to extend, and includes a Bareboat Charterparty Contract for the charter of the FPSO, and a Contract for Provision of Operational and Maintenance Services for the operation and maintenance of the FPSO. 
  
The FPSO has been deployed to the Oyo Field since 2008 with the previous operator of the field, Nigerian Agip Explorationand will now continue to operate there with Oceanic. [20/02/14]
