Bunker explosion kills two in Brazil

A heating unit at a Petrobras depot in Brazil used to treat bunker fuel exploded yesterday, killing two workers. The blast happened in the morning during routine maintenance at the Port of Tubarão, according to BR Distribuidora, the fuels distribution unit of Petrobras.

The fire is the third fatal accident this year at facilities owned by or operated on behalf of Petrobras in Brazil’s Espirito Santo state.
