Singapore: Singapore-based BW Group has bought out Heidmar’s stake in product tanker pooling giant Womar for an undisclosed sum. Womar runs four pools of product tankers with ship sizes ranging up to 30,000 dwt. In total Womar has 40 ships from 10 different owners on its books. The four pools, named Yamuna, Ganges, Marida and Han Gang, cover chemical, product, vegetable oil and fuel oil cargoes. The deal is expected to be finalized by the end of next month.
