BW Offshore FPSO terminated in New Zealand

BW Offshore has been notified by Tamarind Resources that the contract fo FPSO Umuroa will not be extended.

The FPSO is currently operating on the Tui field offshore New Zealand, contracted through to December 31, 2019.

BW says it will now start preparing for demobilisation of the unit.

Tamarind suspended drilling activities at its Tui field in September after it found the first of three planned wells dry.
