BW Offshore gets FPSO contract extension from Petrobras

BW Offshore has announced that Petrobras America has exercised an option to extend the contract for FPSO BW Pioneer from the first quarter of 2017 to the first quarter of 2020.

BW Offshore will replace parts of the subsea mooring system for FPSO BW Pioneer in the second quarter of 2016. During the replacement, the FPSO BW Pioneer will be disconnected. The replacement campaign is expected to result in approximately two months of downtime.

BW Offshore has a fleet of 14 owned FPSOs and one FSO represented in all major oil and gas regions worldwide.
