Capital Product Partners fixes tanker quartet to Petrobras

Evangelos Marinakis led Capital Product Partners (CPP) has fixed four chemical/product tankers to Brazil’s Petrobras.

The STX-built quartet Alexandros II, Aristotelis II, Aris II and Ayrton II have been fixed for a period of two years at $14,700 per day. Petrobras has an option to extend the charters for an additional eleven months at $14,850 per day.

The charters are expected to commence in the third quarter of 2018, bringing CPP’s charter coverage for 2018 up to 70%.
