Nasdaq-listed bulker owner Castor Maritime has secured employment for its fifth panamax bulker which is set for delivery later this month.
Castor acquired the 2010-built Japanese bulker Faye from Soloi in July for $12.75m, and will rename it Magic Horizon when delivered in the middle of this month.
In advance of delivery, Castor has secured a new 10-14 months charter for the vessel at a rate of $11,000 per day. The new charter is scheduled to commence within a few days of delivery.
Castor has one further panamax set to deliver, the 2010-built Triton Hawk, which will be renamed Magic Nova.
