CCCC to build port terminal in Congo

Beijing: China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) has recently signed a contract to construct a port terminal in Oye in the north of The Republic of the Congo.

The US$110m project includes building a cargo terminal, container yard, port machinery and roads in the port area coming in at about 750,000 sqm.

CCCC has been involved in several infrastructure projects in the country including the construction of port facilities, airport runways and a hydropower station. [19/12/12]
