CEVA Logistics appoints Nicolas Sartini as its new CEO

CEVA Logistics has appointed Nicolas Sartini as the new CEO of the company, effective from June 1.

Sartini used to serve as the CEO of APL, a subsidiary of CMA CGM, and later moved to CEVA as chief operating officer and deputy CEO. He replaces Xavier Urbain who will become executive advisor to Rodolphe Saadé, who has been elected as chairman of CEVA’s board of directors.

CMA CGM completed the takeover of CEVA Logistics earlier this month, holding more than 98% of the share capital and voting rights of CEVA.

CEVA said CMA CGM will proceed with a squeeze out and file the claim for cancellation of the remaining outstanding CEVA shares.
