Keeping young people motivated to stay in the industry is one of the biggest headaches facing shipowners today, says the latest star to appear on Splash TV.
P.B. Subbiah heads up human resources and administration at Hong Kong’s largest shipowner by fleet size, Pacific Basin.
“Things are looking so bad at the moment for many segments of the industry that creating a viable career option for young people so that we can potentially fill up senior management positions of the future is very important,” Subbiah said.
