Chandris orders LNG carrier at Daewoo

Athens: Greek shipowner Chandris has ordered another large LNG carrier from Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME), South Korea.

The 173,400-cbm vessel will be delivered in the second half of 2018, the shipyard said today. No price was disclosed for the order.

Chandris already has two large LNG carriers under construction at the yard, of 175,000 cbm and 173,400 cbm respectively. Both are also due to arrive in 2018.
