Singapore: Andy Kidd, in charge of tonnage procurement for Hong Kong’s Pacific Basin, is jumping ship to China Navigation to head up the Swire affiliate’s dry bulk desk. The move will see Kidd move to Singapore, where China Navigation decamped to three years ago. Pacific Basin is looking for a replacement for Kidd, whose responsibilities also included looking after and creating vessel pools. According to well placed market sources China Navigation is gearing up for a handysize splurge. [27/08/12]
