China Navigation adds another handy

China Navigation, which has been very active scouring the markets of late, has come in for the Sumatra, a 2016-built handysize. The Singapore-headquartered affiliate of the Swire Group is paying $15.5m for the Huanghai-built ship which comes equipped with four cranes.

This is the fifth ship China Navigation has taken in the past couple of months from German outfit Bertling which had ordered a series of bulkers at Huanghai.
