Shanghai: China Ocean Shipbuilding Industry Group has announced that it has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Zhoushan Marine Comprehensive Development and Investment Company. Under the agreement, the two companies agreed to jointly develop ocean related business in Zhoushan and facilitate the transformation of the shipbuilding industry in the region.
Pursuant to the agreement, China Ocean Shipbuilding expressed an interest to participate in the development of the shipbuilding business in the new district of Zhoushan. The company said its participation in the shipbuilding business in Zhoushan is subject to further negotiations of the definitive binding agreement between the two companies. [18/06/14]
