China Railway Fuchuan Marine secures offshore wind farm installation contract

China Railway Fuchuan Marine Engineering (CRFME) has secured a contract from Huadian Heavy Industry for offshore wind farm engineering works.

The contract scope covers the installation of 25 wind turbines at Dafeng offshore wind farm in Jiangsu.

CRFME said it is the largest contract the company has secured since inception. The company was established by Fujian Shipbuilding Group and China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group at the end of 2016 to tap into the emerging offshore wind industry.

The company currently operates two wind turbine installation platforms.
