Shanghai: Li Shaode has retired as chairman of China Shipping Group, one of the largest state-run shipping conglomerates in China. Group president Xu Lirong will replace Li as the new chairman of the group with Zhang Guofa replacing Xu as the new president of the group.
Xu Lirong, 56, had served as president of China Shipping Group, managing director of Cosco Container Lines and president of the Shanghai Shipping Exchange.
