China to start price reform of natural gas

Beijing: Following the 260 billion cubic meters natural gas supply target by 2015, China will launch price reform of natural gas to improve the pricing system and increase the percentage of natural gas in primary energy consumption, according to a policy announced by the National Development and Reform Commission Wednesday. The policy will take effect on 1 December.

Meanwhile, the supply of resources will be increased and the construction of LNG terminals will also be accelerated, as SinoShip News has reported earlier this week.
