China will cut tax for new energy-efficient ships

Beijing: China’s Ministry of Finance, State Administration of Taxation, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology have together released a notice for the tax exemption of new energy ships and vehicles.

According to the notice, ships and vehicles that adopt alternative energy will be exempted certain as yet unspecified taxes.

Currently the ministries are still working on the relevant standards for the tax exemption policy.
