China’s Hilong wins Indonesian offshore contract

Chinese offshore engineering firm Hilong Group has announced that Hilong Oil Service & Engineering has been awarded an offshore installation contract by Indonesian ECPI company Timas Suplindo.

Under the contract, Hilong will provide offshore installation service for HCML Madura MDA–MBH gas field in the Madura Straight on East Java, Indonesia. The project is jointly invested in by CNOOC and Husky Energy.

The contract is expected to commence mid November and end in February 2017. Hilong will deploy its vessel Hilong 106 for the service.
