Bangkok: Thailand’s Precious Shipping announced that it has entered into shipbuilding contracts for two 64,000 dwt bulkers and two 38,500 dwt bulkers in China.
The two 64,000dwt bulkers will be built at Jiangsu Sainty Marine, with scheduled delivery in June 2014. The two 38,500 dwt bulkers will be built at China Shipbuilding & Offshore and Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Industry, with scheduled delivery in 2015.
Precious Shipping said its fleet will comprise 48 vessels after the delivery of these vessels and four other newbuilds currently under construction. [27/11/13]
