Shanghai: Yantai CIMC Raffles Offshore Limited (CIMC Raffles), a wholly-owned subsidiary of CIMC Group, has announced that it has secured an order from a wholly-owned subsidiary of Norshore Holdings to build a multi-purpose drillship with three options. The drillship is scheduled to be delivered in the second half year of 2016.
In the meantime, the company said it has secured an order from Beacon Holdings Group to build one harsh environment ice class semi-submersible drilling rig. The rig will be named the Beacon Atlantic. The delivery is scheduled in the fourth quarter of 2016. [16/01/14]
