CIMC Raffles has begun work on a semi-submersible drilling rig in Yantai, COSL Prospector. The rig is the fourth of its kind ordered by China Oilfield Services and is due for delivery in the second half of 2014.
Currently, CIMC Raffles is holding orders worth more than US$2.5b and major clients include COSL, Saipem, and BP. Its offerings include semi-submersible platforms, jack-up platforms, FPSO, floating cranes, pipe-laying ships, and it is building the largest marine engineering manufacturing base in China.
