CLdN adds more car carriers

CLdN, part of Cobelfret, has confirmed the lifting of options for an additional two 5,400 lane meter vessels from the Korean shipyard, Hyundai Mipo. This is to complement the previously announced firm orders for six vessels, of which the initial two 8,000 lane meter vessels will be delivered later this year.

The latest vessels will be LNG ready, allowing for adaption to dual fuel propulsion. CLdN has another four options it is likely to take at the same yard. CLdN’s roro division currently operates 24 ships.
