Dalian: China Merchants Energy Shipping (CMES) announced that it has informed Dalian Shipbuilding Industry (DSIC) and Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding to exercise options for four VLCCs in total.
CMES signed shipbuilding contracts with DSIC and Waigaoqiao in February to construct three VLCCs plus two options at each yard. The price for each vessel is $85m. [05/08/13]
