CNOOC adjustment project commences production

Beijing: China’s largest offshore oil and gas producer, CNOOC, announced that Qikou 18-1 adjustment project has started production and is expected to hit peak production in 2014.
The company’s wholly-owned and operated Qikou 18-1 oil field is located in the west part of Bohai with an average water depth of 10 metres. To fully utilize the existing production facilities, the project has a plug-in processing facility and two production platforms, the company said in a statement. [19/12/13]
